Soy Candle Making -
Early Bird $30/person (25 days before class) or Thereafter $35.00/Person
Join us for refreshments, appetizers, instruction, and leave with two hand-poured candles. Choose your own fragrance from a selection of season-appropriate scents. This class is great for first time candle makers, people interested in learning a new hobby or starting a side business, and for those looking for something fun to do with a group. Our instructor, Ashlee, has been successfully selling candles on her Etsy shop for three years. She is creative, fun and energetic.
Canning & Preserving - $35/person or two for $65
Water Bath Canning - Curious about how to preserve your home-grown or bulk produce, but you don't know where to start? Join us to learn the safety, science and principles behind safe water bath canning. Participate in a hands-on lesson, canning a local produce that is in season (green beans, jams, peaches, etc). Our instructor, Katie, has been canning for over 25 years and will teach you the tips, tricks, and shortcuts to successful canning and preservation. Cost of the class includes refreshments, appetizers, 2.5 hr instruction and demonstration, a take-home instruction packet and a mason jar preserve to enjoy at home.
ECO Care Home Cleaning Products - DIY - $20/person
Save hundreds of dollars a year and keep those toxic chemicals off your clothes, dishes, and skin. Come learn just how easy it is with simple planning, good recipes, and a little time, to produce your own cleaning products. This class with show you fail proof tips and proven recipes to phase out some or all of your current cleaning supplies and even routines. Class includes refreshments & snacks, 2-hour instruction, recipe/tip packet, and an 8-oz jars of your non-toxic cleaning agent of choice (dish washing detergent, laundry soap, hand soap, scrubbing agent etc). Instructor, Emily, loves to share tips and a passion for "Do It Yourself" living. Throw out the chemicals, save the bottle, and get prepared for a cleaner, healthier and less expensive household.
