ECO Center Summer Day Camp
Have your children join us this summer at ECO Center to explore the outdoors by participating in programmed hands-on educational lessons. We make learning fun and memorable! Lessons will be paired with outdoor play, arts and crafts, and nature monitoring and exploration.
Payment can be made online by adding a registration to your cart below or by sending a check payable to ECO Center (1757 County Rd. 59, Caledonia, OH 43314). *Please note there is a 2.5% convenience fee associated with online payment.
ECO Center's camp refund policy: to receive full payment, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to the first day of camp. Prices include a camp t-shirt, daily refreshments and a healthy afternoon snack. Seedling and Sapling campers are responsible for bringing a "trash free lunch" each day.

Acorns - Ages 4-5
Mon–Fri: 9:30am – 11:30 am OR 1:30 am - 3:30 pm
Session: July 16 - 20
The Acorn camper's main mission will be to learn through play. Their daily camp sessions will include a combination of nature-themed arts and crafts, socialization and team building opportunities, as well as good old fashioned physical activity. Camper's will build confidence and motor skills through a variety of activities including, up close and personal interactions with our farm animals and problem solving tasks and challenges. Each day campers will also have the opportunity to enjoy our zip lines, tube slides, barrel train ride, and up-cycled playground.
Seedlings - Ages 6-8
Mon – Fri : 9 am – 3 pm
Session: June 18 - 22
The Seedling camper's main mission will be to soak up exciting natural science concepts through exploration and inquisition. Seedlings will focus their days learning about local flora and fauna through organized hands-on lessons. Daily treks within our woods and prairie will engage camper's curiosity and wonder as they get an up close and personal look at nature. They will participate in group games that will help them understand scientific terms and subject matters by using real life scenarios. Each day they will also have the opportunity to enjoy our zip lines, tube slides, barrel train ride, and upcycled playground through a morning and afternoon play session.
sAplings - ages 9-11
Mon – Thurs: 9 am – 4 pm
Fri: 9 am - 5 pm
Session: June 18 - 22
The Sapling camper's main mission will be to participate in the ongoing nature monitoring programs at ECO Center. Each day, they will be engaged in hands-on learning activities that focus on environmental sustainability practices and discussions of present day risks and threats to Ohio's native flora and fauna. They will pair critical thinking skills with our available tools and resources to come up with solution-oriented practices toward stewardship of our Earth. Throughout the week, campers will go on discovery challenges within our woods and prairie to identify species, threats, and possible solutions. They will also receive animal husbandry tips while completing the daily farm chores associated with caring for our goats, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. Their week will conclude with a camp fire dinner and team building session.
